Admit it, when we have some spare time and need to clean or tidy up, it really is the last thing we want to be doing. Can’t get motivated to tidy up? Want a quick and easy way to get the job done? Well, look no further as I’ve put together some really cool and easy tips to cleaning up your room or house!
Put your sponge in the microwave
It was found that out of everything in the kitchen, a sponge or brush held the most bacteria on it. Want a way to solve that? Wet your cleaning sponge and then put it in the microwave for 30 seconds. This will remove all the nasty bacteria, leaving it all lovely and clean. (Maybe leave it for a minute or so though as I’ll be piping hot!)
You can also put it in the dishwasher to make it squeaky clean and ready to use!
A keyboard and a toothbrush
Are there crumbs or little bits of dust in between the keyboard on your computer. Well, a little birdy told me that if you use your old toothbrush to clean between all the letters, this will catch everything that shouldn’t be there- giving you a clean keyboard ready to tackle those essays!
Nail Varnish, alcohol and a cloth
Picture the scene, you’re in your room with your favorite party playlist, getting ready for that big night out. You’ve decided to paint your nails red when suddenly you spill some on the carpet! Don’t sweat it because if you take a microfibre cloth and some rubbing alcohol then you’ll be able to get that out before you know it. Easy peasy and no angry Landlords.
Baking Soda and Vinegar
Need to clean your oven but struggling to find time to do it? This doesn’t need to be a long or expensive process, Take a cloth and put it over the door and inside, leave it for a bit and all the dirt should come off easily! Simple.
Mug ring Marks
Do you have rings on your coffee table or on your desk? Need help taking it off? Put some baking soda on a sponge and it’ll come off just like that. Clean and presentable for any guests coming to visit.
So hopefully, these handy tips will be helpful
